A look into how 16-30’s interact with entertainment & media.

MASSIVE is a film loving community of 5 million 16-30’s, who are heavy consumers of entertainment.

In July 2024 we undertook the latest MASSIVE pulse study. These studies are where we gather data to inform our understanding of how young adults are engaging with entertainment, right now.

With each pulse study, a nationwide sample (200+) of 16-30’s are recruited via social media & the MASSIVE database.

Results of this study are presented at various industry events and are now publicly available below.

WHY

To learn how young adult audiences are interacting with MASSIVE and their wider entertainment behaviours.

WHAT

  • A survey sent out to a nationwide pool of 16-30s recruited from MASSIVE database and social media. Survey includes questions aimed at finding out how they watch, what they want from MASSIVE going forward, and what they’re anticipating from the entertainment world.

  • All compiled into a report with engaging design that can be shared with the wider industry.

IMPACT 

  • Gaining valuable first-hand insight into young adult audiences in the UK, with open access online for broadcasters, streamers, distributors, studios, cinemas and advertisers.
