Anora

The name on everybody’s lips, Anora is the latest film from indie darling Sean Baker that expertly matches the quality of his previous works such as The Florida Project and Tangerine.

In this new twist on a Cinderella story, Anora, a young sex worker from Brooklyn (played by Mikey Madison), meets and impulsively marries the son of an oligarch (played by Mark Eydelshteyn). Once the news reaches Russia, her fairytale is threatened as his parents set out for New York to get the marriage annulled.
