A partnership between Co-op and ourscreen, offering free screenings of the festive classic Elf to help celebrate togetherness at Christmas.

Why

Using the shared experience of cinema to celebrate togetherness and reward local communities during the festive season.

What

Co-op hosted free, nationwide screenings of the children’s Christmas classic Elf, giving Co-op members, local community staff and members of the public an early Christmas gift. Screenings took place in more than 70 UK cinemas, with complimentary Co-op food and drink enjoyed by guests.

Impact 

More than 14,000 free cinema tickets were claimed, reaching over six million people in total.
