SXSW London - Public Voting Open
We are thrilled to announce that eff’s SXSW London panel entry has been shortlisted on the public voting platform!
“This panel, led by elevenfiftyfive Co-founder, David Kapur, and featuring Pinny Grylls, director of award-winning, independent film Grand Theft Hamlet, and BFI Director of UK Audiences Ben Luxford will discuss the challenges facing independent cinema, what action can be taken to invest in its future and the importance of independent film to the industry and culture at large. The panel will discuss successful initiatives and their impact, and how collaborations with brands can also make a notable impact on attracting new audiences. The panel will also share details and results to date of elevenfiftyfive’s initiative Escapes, a national independent cinema screening program, supported by the BFI and the National Lottery.”
Like all SXSW events, the debut London conference agenda is collated by a public voting system, whereby shortlisted entries that receive the most votes make it to the event in June 2025.
Public voting ends at 23:59 on Thursday 19 December, so we are keen to rally as much support as possible for our entry since success is all based on the number of votes achieved.
